2010 $5 Quilt Club

On the first Saturday of January, you can come to a demo class at 9:00 and for $5.00, you receive a kit for a block. If you bring the finished block back to the demo on the first Saturday of February, you will receive the next kit free. If at any time you can’t come, or you don’t get the block made, you can purchase the kit for $5.00. This is a perfect opportunity to make a quilt without a large investment! Even if you didn't start in January, you can still buy the previous months and start from that point.

Back to Nature Block of the Month Club-new for 2010

This lodge look fabric from Timeless Treasures creates that warm, fuzzy feeling. Make some sampler blocks, some flying geese and log cabins and set it together with the wonderful border print of pine cones and leaves. Designed by Wing and a Prayer, local Kansas designers. A generous queen size quilt, with a couple of extra projects thrown in. The cost of the club is $25 per month, including shipping. This monthly fee covers all the fabrics, borders, backing, binding and batting. Come join the fun.

Garden Nouveau Block of the Month

If you like to applique, this is the block of the month for you! Featuring Vicky's book, Garden Nouveau, published by AQS, we will be offering this as a block of the month. It probably won't start in January, we will have to wait for just the right fabric. But once it gets here, we'll let you know! When you think of it a block at a time, it is not so overwhelming...and it is abslolutely gorgeous!

Marie Antoinette Block of the Month Club

Featuring the Marie Antoinette fabric line from Timeless Treasures, this Block of the Month is designed by Toni Steere (former owner of Prairie Pieces in Council Grove). Each month the kit will be mailed directly to you. You will be billed $20 per month. We do ask that you pay the first and last month to start as a deposit. For that fee, you will receive monthly packets to complete the quilt as pictured, backing included. There are 12 pieced blocks, pieced background blocks and some simple applique. Don't let that "A" word keep you from participating.

Swatch Club

Each month we will send you twenty 5" squares of our newest fabrics. These fabrics may be flannel or regular cotton, you never know. You can use these to order more by mail or collect them for a charm quilt. The cost for this club is $5.00 each month. Just call our toll-free number or use the class enrollment form to sign up. For ideas using the 5" squares, be sure to look for "Nickel Quilts" or "More Nickel Quilts", also available from the Quilt Connection.
