This quilt design represents all of the men and women that have been asked to stand for freedom, so we can fly that flag and be proud of every single person that, in some way, has paid a price for us. We could not leave out the families waiting for a return or those left behind to carry on. The white cross and kneeling soldier under the flag represents the lives lost, the duty they fulfilled and sacrifices they made. Every branch of service is represented. From the skies to the oceans, the USA is there, fighting for freedom and those men and women are OUR heroes.
